BSc in Biochemistry Conferring 2019
Forty BSc (Hons) Biochemistry students were conferred at a ceremony on Tuesday, 15th October.
Professor Rosemary O’Connor, Head of School, introduced the graduands and President Patrick O’Shea presented the parchments to the students. Dr Jay Chopra, Director at Making Shift Happen, and a former UCC graduate delivered an inspirational commencement address encompassing his career profile and the five D’s- “Desire, Dent, Dream, Dare, Determination”.
Following the conferring ceremony Caoimhe Lynch was presented with the Art Champlin Gold Medal as top Biochemistry graduate.
The staff in the School would like to wish the BSc Biochemistry graduates every success in their future careers.
