The Biochemistry & Biotechnology Society hosted a placement information seminar on Wednesday, October 23rd. 

On November 12th, 46 transition year students from Presentation College, Cork, visited the School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology for a DNA workshop filled with valuable content and learning opportunities. 

The Biochemistry and Biotechnology Society at UCC hosted an MSc Biotechnology information seminar on Tuesday, November 19th which was attended by over 50 undergraduate students.

The BSc Biomedical Science class of 2024 were conferred with their degree at a joint UCC-MTU conferring ceremony on Wednesday, 6^th November, hosted by UCC.

The School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology are delighted to announce that University College Cork, Rau Consulting and Bio Pharma Technical Consulting have be selected as a finalist in the ‘Talent Acceleration’ category at the Biotech Week Boston (BWB) Awards 2024, for our Springboard+ and HCI-funded Postgraduate Course in Advanced Cell and Gene Therapy.
