Ashling O'Sullivan holds a BSc from UCC along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Business to Business Marketing from DIT and a special certificate in Digital Marketing from CIT. ​

​Ashling has worked in marketing roles over the past 20 years with companies such as Eircell/Vodafone and Thomas Crosbie Holdings Ltd. She also worked with The Donkey Sanctuary Ireland Ltd as PR Officer. At the sanctuary, Ashling was responsible for PR and marketing as well as managing the charity's social media channels.​

​Ashling joined UCC Academy in 2021. She has worked as Communications Project Officer with the UCC Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, in partnership with the South/South West Hospital Group (S/SWHG) and GatewayUCC. ​

​She also worked as Communications and Marketing Manager at the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences. Presently Ashling supports Professor Maggie O’Neill on ISS21 (Institute of Social Sciences in the 21st Century).​
