Website - Welcome Back to UCC Hockey 2026/27
Welcome back to another exciting season of UCC Hockey!
For the 2026/27 season, we are delighted to have six women's teams and one men's team competing in the Munster Senior Leagues. We will also continue our popular Social Hockey sessions every Wednesday evening from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, providing a great opportunity for players of all abilities to get involved.
This weekend marked the beginning of our competitive season, with the Women's 1st XI travelling to Waterford for their opening fixture. They took on Waterford Women's Division 1 on Saturday in Newtown.
Leading the Women's 1st XI this season are Head Coach Darren Collins and Assistant Coach Yvonne O'Byrne, supported by Caroline Collins and performance analyst Len Browne. We wish the management team every success as they guide the squad through the season ahead.
The early months of the campaign will focus on the Munster Senior League Division 1, before attention turns to the EYHL Division 2, which gets underway at the end of January.
As another season begins, we would like to wish all our players, coaches, managers, officials and supporters the very best of luck. We look forward to an exciting year of hockey and seeing all our teams represent UCC with pride.
