Hockey Update!

Munster Hockey Indoor Tournament Round Two

Our men played last Sunday in the second round of the Munster Hockey Indoor Tournament in Kinsale. Presented with their new jersey’s, the team did UCC proud and ensured competition in the 2023/24 for the men’s club. A big thank you to Munster Hockey for organising the tournament and to Kinsale Hockey Club for hosting.

The Womens 1sts played their first game after the Christmas break last Saturday in the Mardyke. They had a slow start against C of I finding it difficult to keep possession long enough to score early goals. Three goals came eventually through Lauren Cripps and the Murphy's Jane and Sarah. The team play their first EY2 game this weekend when they travel North to play Ards on Saturday. Keep an eye on our social media for updates.

This weekend Div 3 play away to Ashton at 4.30pm and Div 5 play away to Cork Harlequins at 4.45pm, both games on Saturday. Our Div 2 side commence their second half of the season on Sunday in the Mardyke against Cork Harlequins, tip off 12pm.

-Midterm Hockey Camp for 3rd and 4th year students, 12/13 February (see poster for details)
