The Division 1 side capitalised on their first EYHL2 win with another win against visitors Muckross. The student side scored first through Julia McCarthy in the first quarter. However Muckross came back soon after to equalise with a goal from Katie Fitzgerald. UCC were the better team throughout but it took 2 late goals from Rebecca Kingston and captain Abi O Mahony to clinch the victory in the end. Final score 3-1.

 

Both Division 3 and Division 5 played on Sunday in their respective Munster leagues. The div 5 side had a comprehensive 6-0 win against C of I (Aoife Maloney (2), Zara Keatinge, Mary McGuire, Trudy O Loughlin (2)) while the Division 3 side had a closer game against Cork Wanderers with goals from Anna Twomey and two from Anna Collins. Final score 3-0.

 

This weekend sees the Division 1 side travel to Galway where they will take on NUIG in the EYHL2. The Division 3 side have a big game against Bandon as they open their Munster Cup campaign in the Mardyke on Saturday, 12pm tip off. The Division 2 side were due to play North Kildare in the Irish Junior Cup this Saturday but it has been postponed to February 10th in the Mardyke. The will play a rescheduled league game against Cork Harlequins on Sunday.
