Letter to An Taoiseach & Minister for the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environemnt on Delay in publishing Climate Action Plan 2026.

Ireland's Climate Action Plan is urgently needed to close the emissions gap between decarbonisation action and committed targets for the second carbon budget period (2026-30) - but the plan been delayed. Minister Darragh O'Brien recently justified this delay on the basis of unfinalised carbon budgets post-2030.
