Conversation focused on the state of global climate action and politics. The Minster spoke frankly and starkly - we are "on the brink" of crossing tipping points in the Earth's climate, which are spelling disaster. He also gave insights from his insider role in global climate politics, including as lead climate finance negotiator for the EU.

It was also a wonderful opportunity to reflect on Eamon Ryan's legacy, as he steps back from politics (for now?) and from the leadership of the Green Party of Ireland / Comhaontas Glas, particularly in the transformation in Ireland's ability to take action on climate.

Contributions from the audience paid tribute to Ryan's wide-ranging impact, and the session ended - fittingly - with a standing ovation.
