WEBINAR – Microbiome 101: The Brain-Gut Axis

Join APC Microbiome Ireland researchers Prof Paul Ross, Prof John Cryan, and Prof Felice Jacka from Deakin University to explore the latest advancements in microbiome science - specifically the brain gut axis.

Yoga for World Microbiome Day - Movement, Kefir & Kombucha!

You are invited to a gentle yoga session designed to support mind-body balance and gut health. After class sample some refreshing probiotic-rich drinks designed to nourish your microbiome.

Please wear comfy clothes and bring your own mat!

This is a great opportunity to take a mindful break, connect with colleagues, and explore the intersection of wellness and microbiome health.

Gut Matters

Enjoy a night of conversation exploring the gut microbiome and its role in health and disease.

Join Meaghers Pharmacy for some nibbles, drinks and a goody bag on arrival, followed by a panel discussion hosted by Clare McKenna culminating in a Q&A session with the audience. Panel members include APC Microbiome Ireland researchers: Professor Siobhain M O’Mahony, Professor Jens Walter and Dr Julie O’Sullivan.

FREE Book Drop

To celebrate World Microbiome Day there will be complimentary copies of ‘Listen to your Microbes’ in every library throughout Cork City and County. ‘Listen to your Microbes’ by Fergus Shanahan and Laura Gowers is a graphic story of the human gut microbiome, told from the perspective of the microbes. 

Free to take home on a first come, first served basis!
