APC Scientist win UCC Research Image of the Year Award
APC's Dr Jatin Nagpal, Dr María Rodríguez Aburto, Koushika Chandrasekaran, Lorena Morales García (INSPIRE MSCA Fellowship programme) and Alexandre Cergneux who have won the Joint University College Cork Research Image of the Year for ‘Brain Pipelines’!
At the UCC annual research award ceremony on Thursday 29 May UCC President John O'Halloran presented the award to the group for their submission – ‘Brain Pipelines’ which captures the delicate and intricate vasculature of the brain of a three day old zebrafish embryo, with fluorescently labelled blood vessels in green.
