Postgrad Association

The APC Postgrad Association is a group of PhD, master’s and research students from across all disciplines in APC, who aim to improve the APC experience for all Postgrad’s. As a committee we run coffee mornings and social events throughout the year to encourage students and staff across APC to socialise, build connections, share knowledge and encourage collaborations. The APC Postgrad Committee organise an annual Quiz each year and run the charity raffle at the APC Symposium among various other events.
The committee is always looking for new members.

For anybody who is interested in joining please contact our current chairperson Katie: 119448386@umail.ucc.ie

The APC Postdoc Association is a dynamic and supportive network representing postdoctoral researchers within APC Microbiome Ireland. The association aims to encourage a collaborative research environment, promote career development and most importantly advocate for all scientific disciplines within the microbiome field. We organise scientific meetings (e.g. APC Postdoc Day, APC forums with External Speakers, Coffee with PIs) and social events (e.g. Cheers with Peers, Quiz Night), and we often partner with the APC EDIW committee and Postgrad association for events geared towards promoting wellbeing, socialising and seasonal celebrations. The association also serves as a bridge between postdocs and the APC PIs and administrators, ensuring postdoctoral voices are heard and valued within APC strategic goals.
