The FDC Group Scholarships MSc in Management and Marketing

We are supporting up to 2 students with scholarships for the prestigious MSc in Management and Marketing in UCC.
Scholarships are valued at €12,500.
About the MSc in Management and Marketing:
- 1 Year Programme – Full Time
- Begins, 9th September 2024.

- The minimum requirement for applicants is a Second Class Honours Grade II in a primary honours degree (NFQ Level 8) without significant management or marketing component (as adjudicated by the Programme Director, but normally less than 30 ECTS credits).
FDC Scholarship:
- €12,500 per successful applicant. Successful applicants must complete the placement element of the MSc programme with the FDC Group.
- Students must have applied for the MSc in Management and Marketing via the UCC Applications System, have received an offer and have accepted a place to qualify to apply for the scholarship.
- This Scholarship is open to all EU/UK students.
How to Apply:
- Applications for the Scholarships must be made on the official application form and include name, contact details and qualifications with graduating institution(s). Applications for the Scholarship must be submitted to David Alton: david.alton@ucc.ie
- Applications must include a short personal statement in response to the following (max 500 words per question):
- Identify an important issue facing Rural Ireland at present and propose a concise strategy how FDC can address this.
- Finally, outline
a. Your reason for applying and academic background.
b. Your previous achievements (academic or other notable achievements).
c. Your future career aspirations.
- Applicants must name at least two referees – one academic and one professional.
Application Timeline:
- CLOSING DATE FOR 2024/25 APPLICATIONS: Friday 16th August 2024.
- A short list of candidates will be sent to the FDC Group on or before Monday 19th August 2024 for review.
- Interviews will be scheduled for Wednesday September 4th 2024 and will take place at University College Cork.
- Once the Scholarships are awarded, successful candidates will be afforded three days to accept the Scholarship.
