Mona Mullane McLauchlan

Mona Mullane McLauchlan joined the Centre in April 2003, having previously worked in the Registrars Department (Student Records and Examinations Office), Zoology & Animal Ecology, Epidemiology & Public Health and Buildings & Estates.

On joining the Centre she set up and established all necessary administrative structures and organisational functions. She continues to manage and oversee these structures and functions and manages all Centre activities. She is Project Manager on the Centre's research projects, is a member of various committees within the Centre and is Chair of three committees.

Prior to taking up employment in UCC she worked in the head office of an international promotions office and subsequently in a large civil engineering and building contractors company.  

Mona also lectured for many years in Skerry's Business College, Cork, on various aspects of IT and computing and in particular lectured on and co-ordinated the JEB Teachers Diploma in Information Technology. Her teaching interests are in the areas of IT and the Principles of Teaching and Training. Mona holds Teachers Diplomas in Word Processing, in the Principles of Teaching and Training and in Information Technology.

Mona holds a Diploma in Project Management and has a keen interest in the area.
