Our Professional English Suite of programmes for organisations are tailor made for teams needing to communicate in a specific context.  

From the outset, we begin the process of establishing the particular needs of your group specific to their working context through diagnostic testing. Together with you our highly-experienced teachers negotiate the course content to ensure we meet your particular English language learning needs and objectives. We identify the technical or commonly-used language and provide targeted input in lessons on this, as well as allowing for practice of common work-related scenarios, resulting in increased confidence and ability for fast, accurate and agile communication in your work setting. 

Focus can be given to particular skills, such as report writing or effective emails, or functional areas such as dealing with a difficult customer or using language effectively to negotiate or when giving presentations. With ongoing guidance and personalised feedback on tasks from your language coach, we ensure your team’s learning objectives are met. 

Working with the commissioning manager, we ensure that courses meet organisational as well as individual needs. 

We will help you to build your team’s capacity in the A-Z of business, from Agriculture to Zoo Keeping.   

From the outset, our approach allows for an in-depth establishing of your organisation’s needs prior to the course commencement and throughout your language coach will provide personalised and targeted-to-specific needs content. On course completion, your group will be given a tailormade ongoing plan for continuing your language development as well as a detailed report and certificate.  

We have flexibility in our delivery modes for your lessons. We can deliver tuition fully online, at your company location or on our beautiful campus at the Language Centre at University College Cork. A blended approach, with delivery being online and as well as in-person, is also possible.
