The Glucksman Gallery is preparing to host its annual craft weekend this November.

Over the three days, the Glucksman Gallery spaces will brim with craftwork  from leading Irish artists presenting textiles, ceramics, woodturning, furniture, prints, basketry, jewellery andmuch more.

Throughout the weekend, the creative team at the Glucksman will also run art workshops enabling parents to shop and children to have fun making their own craft masterpieces. These workshops take place on Saturday at 11am and 3pm and Sunday at 12pm and 3pm.

Glucksman Director, Fiona Kearney said: “The Craft Fair is a wonderful showcase for the artistry and value of Irish Craft. It is a chance to support our local economy at a time when a lot of people want to find ways to give and buy Irish. Certainly, I plan to find my Christmas gifts among the gorgeous displays in the gallery in November!”

The fair is open on Friday the 8th of November from 3pm to  6pm,  Saturday the 9th from 10pm  to 6pm and Sunday the  10th from 11pm to 5pm. Gillian Keating, President, Cork Chamber of Commerce will officially open the fair at 5pm on Friday.
