"Passing the Torch" an exhibition of paintings by UCC Medical Graduate of 1939, Dr Madoline O’ Connell

Concurrent with the ‘Experience of Illness’ exhibition at UCC’s Glucksman Gallery and in association with and UCC Medical Alumni Association, the Jennings Gallery opening of  ‘Passing the Torch ‘ an exhibition of paintings by UCC Medical Graduate of 1939, Dr Madoline O’ Connell, took place on November 29^th 2012.

The extraordinary Madoline O’ Connell focuses on Art, Observation and her interaction with Alexander Fleming whose discovery of Penicillin revolutionized the world’s perception of bacteria and illness.

The exhibition will run from 29^th November 2012 to 10^th January 2013 inclusive. Curated by UCC students Áine McLaughlin and Amber Shrestha.
