Research Assistant in Bacterial Signalling & Pathogenesis
BioMERIT Research Centre
Applications are invited for a Research Assistantship in the group of Dr Max Dow within the BIOMERIT Research Centre to work on the bacterial second messenger cyclic di-GMP and its role in the regulation of virulence in bacterial pathogens of humans and plants (see Ryan et al., PNAS 103: 6712, (2006); Dow et al., MPMI 19: 1378, (2006)), This position, which is funded by the Science Foundation of Ireland, is available from January 2007 for a period of one year.

The salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
