LECTURER IN ITALIAN (1-Year Contract)
College of Arts, Cletic Studies & Social Sciences
Applications are invited for the above fulltime post in the Department of Italian. The ideal candidate will have completed or be close to completing a PhD in Italian literature and will have a native or near-native knowledge of Italian. S/he will be capable of teaching language at all levels and elements as required from the Department’s core literature course, and of contributing to its taught Master’s programme. Specialists in any area of Italian literature will be considered, but the ability to contribute to the teaching at undergraduate level of Medieval and/or Renaissance literature may be an advantage.
