Promotion to Professor (Scale 2) – Stage 2, Full Application

You may not submit a full application unless you have been invited to do so by HR/People & Culture

Candidates who have been shortlisted at Stage 1 are now being invited to submit a detailed application form. If you have submitted a Personal Circumstance/ Covid-19 Impact Statement Leave Form at Stage 1, please ensure that you complete and upload the Stage 2 Personal Circumstance/ Covid-19 Impact Statement Leave Form.

Applicants should note that full applications will not be accepted after 12 noon on Monday, 24th February 2025. You can access the Stage 2 application form and details under 'My Recruit' on ESS. Please note that the Stage 2 (full application) need to be submitted via ESS through the e-recruitment portal: https://www.ucc.ie/en/ess/

Important: Please refer to the Regulation on Promotion to Professor (Scale 2) before proceeding. Please pay particular attention to criteria requirements as outlined in Appendix C.

A completed **Full Application **should include the following;

  1. Application Form P1 (Prof 2)
  2. Optional Copy of Statutory Leave Form(if already submitted at Expression of Interest Stage). ‘Statutory Leave’ refers to maternity leave, paternity leave, parental or adoption leave, carer’s leave and/or any other protected leave which may be provided for in Statute from time to time.
  3. Optional Personal Circumstances / Covid 19 Impact Statement(if already submitted at Expression of Interest Stage). **Please complete and upload the **Stage 2 Personal Circumstance/ Covid-19 Impact Statement Leave Form.  For further details, please see paragraph 4.5 in the Regulation on Academic Promotions to Professor (Scale 2).
  4. Career Trajectory Summary Statement (as submitted at Expression of Interest Stage)
