Step 1: Arrival in Ireland	When you arrive in Ireland you must show your passport, permit, visa and all other required documentation to the immigration officer at the airport or other port of entry.
Step 2: Register with ISD.	From 13/01/2025 the responsibility of registering all applicants in the Republic of Ireland will be transferred to Immigration Service Delivery (ISD) and will no longer be carried out by the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB). First time registration for all residents in the Republic of Ireland will be carried out by Immigration Service Delivery (ISD). ISD Registration Office is located at: 13-14 Burgh Quay, Dublin 2, D02 XK70 .

FAQ's
Is there a fee to book my appointment with ISD?	No. You do not have to pay a fee to book an appointment.
Are there any fees for registering?	You may be asked to pay a registration fee to pay for your permission stamp. This could amount to €300 but will depend on the type of permission you have been given. You will be advised of the fee at the time of registration. You can pay by credit or debit card at your appointment.
When should I register?	You must register within 90 days of arrival in Ireland.
What should I bring to my appointment?	You must bring your registration fee Here is a full list of the required documents to register your immigration permission for the first time.
How long will my appointment take?	The visit should take no longer than 30 minutes.
What happens next?	You will be issued with your Irish Residence Permit (IRP) card wiithin 10 working days.
