UCC Le Chéile Le Bród / UCC Together With Pride

UCC is proud to join as an official sponsor of Cork LGBT+ Pride Festival for the first time.

There is a wide and varied schedule of events coordinated by Cork Pride for the festival, which runs from 23 - 31 July 2022, inclusive.

Friday 22 July - UCC Is Dressed For Pride

UCC main campus will be decked out in rainbows and the Progress flag will fly on the UCC Clock Tower for the first time. 

Tuesday 26 July - Pride Afternoon Tea (3-4pm)

The President will host the first Pride Afternoon Tea for all staff and students in the President's Garden and Honan Plaza.  There is a registration form below. 

Wednesday 27 July - UCC Library (all day)

Come to the ground floor in the Boole for the inaugural exhibition in a new library exhibition space which is celebrating Cork Pride with a display of books, DVDs and other publications by and about the LGBT+ community, covering a range of works from academic, personal, fictional, and beyond.  The exhibition will be running for the whole of the Cork Pride festival.

Thursday 28 July - Cork City (10am - 4pm)

IBEC are hosting a Work With Pride Conference, at which there will be a number of UCC speakers at the event.

Sunday 31 July - UCC Walks in the Cork Pride Parade (gather at 1 pm; parade starts at 2 pm)

UCC staff and students are invited to march in the Pride Parade.  There is a registraiton form below.
