Governance Structures
If you would like to disclose an incident, you can contact the EDI Unit at esvh@ucc.ie or Campus Watch at campuswatch@ucc.ie. Alternatively, you can make an anonymous disclosure through Speak Out.
UCC is committed to ensuring that its work to prevent and respond to sexual violence and harassment is supported by effective governance, oversight and accountability structures. In line with the HEA’s Ending Sexual Violence and Harassment Framework, UCC continues to strengthen its approach to governance and accountability to support a coordinated, whole-university approach to prevention, support, reporting, education and cultural change.
The EDI Office is currently overseeing the re-establishment of a dedicated ESVH Sub-Committee, which will provide strategic oversight of the University’s work in this area. The Committee will support the implementation of ESVH initiatives and action plans, monitor progress and help ensure that UCC continues to meet its commitments to creating a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all members of the University community.
Once established, the ESVH Sub-Committee will report through existing University governance structures directly to the University Leadership Team.
If you have any questions about the status of the ESVH Sub-Committee, please contact esvh@ucc.ie.
