Practice Education

Students will go on a clinical placement (work experience) in each academic year to facilitate the application of knowledge acquired through lectures and PBL tutorials. These unpaid placements are kindly facilitated by the HSE and other voluntary organizations throughout Southern Ireland. It is with every effort that students are placed within reasonable distance from their addresses yet this is not often possible. Students may need to travel and/or arrange accommodation near their placement sites. Students will be made aware of their placement sites as soon as is reasonably possible.
