Aim

The aim of the programme is to educate, train and support individuals to a high standard in the area of Speech and Hearing Sciences. The BSc in Speech and Language Therapy will ensure:

• A steady supply of  professionally qualified Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) by the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT) and accredited by CORU to work in Ireland and abroad

• SLTs capable of identifying, treating and managing children and adults with communication impairments and/or difficulties eating, drinking and swallowing

• SLTs who take a holistic view to service delivery for clients, families and caregivers

• SLTs who have a solid foundation in research skills
