How UCC Career Services can Help
UCC Career Services exists to support the career development of UCC students through the provision of advisory, work placement and graduate recruitment services. On this web page you will find details of how we can support you in your career development:
In person and Online Advisory Consultations
Our Careers Advisors are currently facilitating both in person and remote consultations via Microsoft Teams and we would be delighted for you to avail of this one-to-one service. Use our Careers Connect service to book an appointment with one of our advisors – use your UCC student IT credentials to log in (or if you are a recent graduate please register to access the system)
Connect with your Career
All current students and recent graduates (within one year of graduation) can access our Careers Connect system.
The platform allows you to:
- Build your own graduate profile and sign up for job alerts
- View employer profiles
- Register for employer events along with career and skills development workshops
- Search for internships, graduate programmes or your first graduate job
Both national and international employers’ use the system to advertise entry level roles. If you are a current student, login with your UCC IT credentials. If you are a recent graduate, please register to access the system.
Support for Springboard students
Springboard students have access to a dedicated Careers Advisor, Sylvia Curran, to provide career coaching and guidance and employability skills development. Email sylvia.curran@ucc.ie to organise an appointment. Visit our Springboard webpage for more information on the supports available to you.
