Mr. Rolly Read

Mr. Rolly Read is a Graduate in Archaeological Conservation from University College Cardiff, and he also has postgraduate qualifications in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester and Architectural Conservation from De Montfort University. He led the Antiquities Conservation Laboratory for Leicestershire Museum Services before joining the National Museum of Ireland, where he has been Head of Conservation for seventeen years. His particular research interest is in the investigation and conservation of organic archaeological objects from the wetlands.
