Single Semester Students

UCC Residential Services runs a centralised placement service for incoming Undergraduate Single Semester International and Erasmus Students.

To avail of this service please follow the instructions sent to you by a member of the UCC International Office after you accepted your place in UCC. Please contact the International Office directly if you have accepted your place in UCC but have not yet received the placement service instructions.

We aim to ensure that all applicants receive an offer of accommodation, but there is no guarantee of receiving an offer from our office due to limited resources. 

We know that single semester accommodation can be a challenge to find in Cork. Given the current market conditions, we strongly advise you to consider the following options: 

1. Sign up for our UCC Studentpad site to look at options in student and owner-occupied houses (known as Digs) if you have not already done so. Please ensure to read the full details of the listing before you send an enquiry to the landlord/homeowner. Please ensure the accommodation is listed as 7 days per week, as some are only 5-day week accommodation. 
2. Contact the private student apartment complexes that offer single semester accommodation (Hatch, Bottleworks, Melbourn Point, The Spires, Parchment Square), to see if they have availability.
