Speech and Language Therapists/Pathologists

Why we need your help

SLTTICLD aims to help Speech and Language Therapists/Pathologists overcome the barriers of translating research to practice, and help you answer questions such as:

  • Do theparticipants in this study reflect those on my caseload?
  • Can I tailor the interventionI read about in this paper to my individual clients?

However, in order to achieve this, we need input from people for whom this work matters. As a Speech and Language Therapist/Pathologist, you can provide unique insight into what and how information is reported in language intervention research, and what would help you apply what you read to a clinical setting.

Fill out a form online to express your interest in joining TICLD by taking part in a focus group / consensus exercise and help to improve treatment for children with language difficulties.

Take part in a focus group/consensus excercise

We need to develop a core team to include representatives from each of our 4 key groups across different countries, who will use and be influenced by the final reporting guidance. As a Speech and Language Therapist/Pathologist, you are part of one of our key groups, and we invite you to express your interest in representing this group.

Your involvement in the project will likely involve participating in a focus group/consensus exercise

If you are interested in taking part in this project and helping people with or at risk of language difficulties, please fill out an online form by following the link below. We will inform you of more specific details as soon as they become available. You are free to withdraw your interest at any time
