Our Charity Partners
In 2020 and 2021, we were unable to raise funds for our charity partners but have invited these organisations back for next year’s concert when we hope to significantly support their fundraising efforts. In the meantime, if you can, please support our charity partners who need our support to deliver their life-enhancing services.
Diabetes Ireland, Cork Centre
Diabetes Ireland is the only national charity in Ireland dedicated to helping people with diabetes. They provide support, education and motivation to everyone affected by diabetes. They also raise public awareness of diabetes and its symptoms and fund research into finding a cure for diabetes.
To help reduce the spread of COVID-19 among, Diabetes Ireland have stopped all group education and fundraising activities. This has virtually decimated their income. To help ensure they can keep their helpline and online information platforms open for service users, please make a donation today.

Cork Cancer Care Centre
The idea for this wonderful centre was conceived by Ann Dowley Spillane (1963 – 2017), who was on the journey with cancer. It was following her diagnosis and whilst undergoing treatment that she became acutely aware of the need to support each other with ideas, advice and most importantly, a shoulder to lean on. And so in February 2011, The Girls Club now known as Cork Cancer Care Centre, which is based on a solid positive approach and positive encouragement, was born!
Cork Cancer Care Centre is located at 26 St Pauls Avenue Cork. This premises is the centre’s official meeting point and ‘home away from home’ which provides vital support to those touched by Cancer, and their families. Cork Cancer Care Centre provide a variety of free services, at no cost to the user, including counselling or Psychotherapy and a wide range of complimentary therapies such as Reiki, Access bars, Indian head, Lymphatic drainage, Reflexology , Shamanic healing, etc.
