U.C.C. Hockey Club – Weekend Roundup & Upcoming Fixtures

Last Weekend’s Highlights
It was a busy and successful weekend for U.C.C. teams across all divisions:

Women’s Division 1: A strong performance saw U.C.C. defeat Catholic Institute 4-1, maintaining their position at the top of the table.
Women’s Division 2: The team continued their dominance with an emphatic 6-2 win over Ashton.
Women’s Division 3A: A hard-fought 2-0 victory against Cork Harlequins keeps U.C.C. in first place, 2 points ahead of Limerick HC.
Women’s Division 3B: A late equalizer from Cork C of I resulted in a 1-1 draw. The team will need to dig deep in the coming weeks to secure their Division 3 status.
Division 7: A thrilling 2-2 draw against Belvedere showcased the competitive standard of this division.
Men’s Team: Despite miserable conditions, the men impressed with a 5-2 win over Cork Harlequins. This was their first match under returning coach Reece Hawtrey, whose influence is already making a positive impact.
