The ‘first country in Europe’, the Galician Kingdom was established in 411 AD. It has a very distinctive character and it is probably one of the lesser known European nations.
Galicia has a strong Celtic background, although Roman, Germanic and other influences are also felt. Galicia is unique in itself, and has a vibrant culture and folklore. Would you like to know more? Then our language courses may be of interest to you.
The Galician Beginners I (A1.1) course (Autumn) will provide you with the knowledge you need to speak and understand basic Galician. We also offer a Galician Beginners II (A1.2) course (Spring) to further develop your Galician skills.
