Readings from the Periphery: with writers Marta Dacosta, Harkaitz Cano and Isaac Xubín

This event brings together three writers from the Basque Country and Galicia to discuss the significance of writing in so-called minority languages in today’s world. The day will begin with two research seminars and discussions about different aspects of contemporary Basque and Galician literatures and it will be followed by a poetry reading. The event is organised by the Irish Centre for Galician Studies and the Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies, UCC. Admission to both sessions is free and all are welcome.
