We are excited to bring together educators, researchers, and students for a day of insightful discussions around educational equality, inclusion and diversity.
Hosted by New Avenues to Teaching, School of Education and UCC Futures- Collective Social Futures.
Our keynote speakers:
•Prof Kathleen Lynch (UCD) “Why Affective Justice Matters for Social Justice in Education”
•Dr Annabel Wilson (University of Oxford) “Intersectional Inequalities in Education”
•Dr Linda Greene (Traveller Visibility Group) “Social Determinants of Education”
will share their research and perspectives on education. The School of Education Staff (Prof Nicola Ingram, Dr Kevin Cahill, Dr Aoife Neary, Dr Camelia Bran, Dr Stephen O’Brien & Dr Gemma Campion) will also partake in a panel discussion on the topic of inclusion. This seminar is an excellent opportunity to open discussions, collaborate, and explore new approaches to enhance inclusive school practices and policies.
