Dr. Bridget Carroll and Prof. Olive McCarthy recently completed working with the first cohort of the Certificate in Co-operative Governance and Professional Development in partnership with the Food Industry Training Unit, UCC and Tirlán. The programme aims to provide essential knowledge and skills development to support and progress Tirlán members to play a meaningful role within their co-operative’s representative structures. The programme is a part of Tirlan's Governance Academy established following the restructuring of the business to a fully farmer owned co-operative. The programme will commence again in September 2025.
