Advanced Entry for Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy

Medicine

To be considered for Advanced Entry into Medicine (CK701), applicants must have been admitted to a Medicine programme in their current institution through the CAO process.

Applications are only considered for transfers into Years 2 or 3 of the 5-year programme.

 *CK701 is open to Advanced Entry applications for year 2 only in 2024-25. Applications open on 3 April 2024 and can be made via the UCCApply portal. The closing date for applications is 3 July 2024. Applications are now closed. 

Graduate Entry Medicine

There is no Advanced Entry into Graduate Entry Medicine (CK791) at a level beyond first year.

Dentistry

There is no Advanced Entry into Dentistry (CK702) at a level beyond first year.

Pharmacy

To be considered for Advanced Entry into Pharmacy (CK703), applicants must have been admitted to an equivalent Level 8 Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) accredited programme through the CAO process.

Applications are only considered for transfers into Year 2 of the 5-year programme. Applications are now closed.
