The Graduate School in the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences is pleased to announce the PhD Excellence Scholarship, offering up to 10 scholarships to PhD/MPhil/PhD Track students in any School or Department in CACSSS.

The scholarship will take the form of the EU PhD fee and will be awarded for one year initially. It may be extended to a maximum of 3 years at the discretion of the Graduate Studies Committee subject to certain conditions being met. 

Application is open to

• prospective students who have already applied for a PhD/MPhil in CACSSS and intend to commence their studies in the academic year 2024/2025
• students who are currently registered in either first, second or third year of a PhD/MPhil/PhD Track in CACSSS

Applications for academic year 2025/26 will open in March 2025.
