Biography
Ramit is a diligent PhD student working under the supervision of Dr. Paolo Palmieri and Dr. Hazel Murray. His research focuses on adaptive privacy preservation in a post-quantum era. He completed an Integrated Master of Science degree in 2025, majoring in Mathematics and Computing, from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, India, where he worked under Dr. Anindita Bera on topics in quantum computing. He has also been an intern at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India, where he studied quantum-safe Non-Interactive Zero-Knowledge Proofs under the supervision of Dr. Mriganka Mandal. Ramit is deeply curious about the world of technology and how it can be used to solve problems that make life more fulfilling.
