PERCeiVE (deriving PERceptual Confidence in cooperative Vehicular Environments) (CONNECT2-T4) will address the challenge of determining believe/confidence in cooperatively shared environmental perception data so that it can be trusted to make a control decision. Cooperative or collaborative perception is widely viewed as the panacea to truly realise autonomous driving, particularly in complex urban environments.
