Muhammad Farhan Khan
Bio
Muhammad Farhan Khan is currently a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Dirk Pesch and Professor Cormac J. Sreenan at the School of Computer Science & IT, University College Cork – National University of Ireland, and Confirm SFI Smart Manufacturing Research Centre, Ireland. He possesses over 12 years of diverse professional experience, encompassing industrial, teaching, and research roles in both the public and private sectors across Europe and Asia. He has authored 18+ international scientific publications. Additionally, he is a member of the Pakistan Engineering Council, Internet Society, Irish Computer Society, Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers – ICANN’s Root Server System Advisory Committee (RSSAC) Caucus, and European Regional At-Large Organization (EURALO) Individuals Association, At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC), and IEEE. He has been a fellow of MEAC-SIG 2019, Rabat, Morocco, AprIGF 2020 Fellow, SANOG-35, and ICANN 67 fellow, ICANN 69 fellow. Khan holds a Master’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the prestigious University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Islamabad, Pakistan. His outstanding achievements were further recognized with a Gold medal in the Science and Engineering Design Exhibition (SEDEX) at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) Malaysia.
