Profile

Al-Imran is currently a PhD researcher at the School of Computer Science and Information Technology at University College Cork, Ireland. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, Khulna, Bangladesh, in March 2023. He recently completed his M.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering from Kookmin University, Seoul, South Korea, in August 2025.

Research Interests

IRS-Assisted Joint Communication and Localization for Next-Generation Wireless Networks. His research interests include modeling and applying machine- or deep learning-based approaches for future RF-based and optical wireless communication and networking, DRL-based optimization, IRS-assisted ISAC in Vehicular Communication.
