The IPL Development Committee introduced a new IPL workshop series for first year students in Semester 2.

IPL workshops took place in semester 2 for medicine, pharmacy and nursing and midwifery students with Medication Safety and safe prescribing as the objective.

This year's case focused on a lady with cystic fibrosis.

On Feb 21^st three interprofessional student teams took part in the first AIPEC UCC local competition.

A recent IPL session, held in the Mercy University Hospital in January 2024, centred around Stroke and the importance of a collaborative, patient centred approach.

This semester 70 third year Pharmacy students and 55 fourth year Dentistry students participated in this workshop.

This year marks the 15^th year of the successful running of the IPL Safe Prescribing session for Medicine and Pharmacy students in the Mercy University Hospital.

Bringing together approximately 130 first-year students!

On the 9^th and 10^th January, the Centre for the Advancement of Interprofessional Education UK delivered a series of workshops entitled Interprofessional Learning: strategic planning, development & involving key stakeholders.

On January 17th, the National Suicide Research Foundation in collaboration with the HSE National Office for Suicide Prevention and the School of Public Health held a seminar and World Café in UCC.
