Italian Government Scholarships

The Italian Government offers Irish citizens scholarships to assist them to study or carry out research for short and long-term periods at Italian universities or centres of excellence. These scholarships allow Irish students the opportunity to study at some of the world’s most prestigious universities and to experience life in an unmatched cultural environment.

These awards entail:

• financial support to offset the costs of studying in Italy
• exoneration from university fees for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees
• insurance coverage for the terms of the scholarship
