This highly participative 90 minute in person workshop creates a dedicated space to reflect on career experiences, aspirations and transitions. Facilitated by Sinéad Hackett (CUBS) and Professor Jennifer Mahony (Microbiology, SEFS), participants will engage in creative reflective practices, hear perspectives from colleagues across career stages, and explore what matters most in the next phase of their professional journey. Rooted in the UCC CAIRDEAS values, the workshop encourages collegiality, active listening, inclusion, wellbeing and meaningful connection within our university community.

Target Audience

This session is open to all UCC staff, particularly those who would like to take an opportunity to reflect on their journey to date and to consider their next steps. It will also provide opportunities to engage with other staff members to gain insights on different career pathways and create a network of support.

We welcome staff from across the entire UCC community- academic, researchers, management, professional staff, technical and support services.
