Overview
This workshop is designed for anyone who has to conduct difficult conversations, or face and resolve conflict in the workplace. Handled with compassion, conflict can actually be an opportunity for a team to understand one another better, increase empathy, and provide a pathway for more dynamic collaboration. This experiential 3-hour workshop will encompass didactic, scenario practice and feedback, with opportunities to work on live workplace challenges. We will draw on practical exercises from our Narativ Listening and 'What Happened' methodology; practise different Influencing behaviours and flexing between them; rehearse a Feedback framework; and experience the power of Appreciation and Acknowledgement. All this will be inflected by ideas from Daniel Goleman's Emotional Intelligence Leadership Styles work.
Date: Monday 5th October 2026
Time: 2pm - 5pm
Location: Aine Hyland, Ground Floor of The Hub
