The Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies is a vibrant and dynamic centre for learning the languages and cultures of Spain, Portugal, and Latin America in Ireland. The presence of our Centre for Mexican Studies as well as our Centre for Galician Studies provide undergraduates and postgraduates alike with a wealth of social and cultural resources. Besides Portuguese Studies, the department's partnerships with the Instituto Cervantes (Spanish), the Institut Ramon Llull (Catalan) and the Etxepare Euskal Institutua (Basque) and the Xunta (Galician) guarantee a quality learning experience of the diverse languages in Latin America and Iberia for all our students.
