Dr Gerry McKenna wins prize at UCC Doctoral Showcase.
Congratulations to Dr Gerald McKenna who won the prize for the ‘Best Poster’ at the recent Doctoral Showcase in UCC. The subject of his research is the 'dental needs of older patients and how patients with a few missing teeth might be treated'. His PhD thesis is being supervised by Professor Finbarr Allen and Dr Denis O’Mahony of the Cork University Dental School and Hospital and is funded by the Health Research Board.
