Biography
“My decision to pursue the BE(Civil) Degree at UCC was undoubtedly the best one I have ever made. The program not only provided me with a sound background in civil engineering itself, but it also ensured I gained valuable skills in a wide range of associated areas, such as mathematics and computer programming.”
“In the third year of the degree, I was lucky to have the opportunity to study abroad at the University of California, Irvine, an experience that greatly broadened my civil engineering knowledge and exposed me to exciting areas within the field such as earthquake engineering. Through the project conducted in the final year, I developed an interest in research which ultimately led to my decision to undertake graduate level study.”
“The fact that I am currently undertaking that study at Stanford University is testament to the world-‐class reputation held by the department at UCC and I will forever be grateful to the faculty at UCC for enabling me to take this exciting new step in my career.”
