Future Earth Ireland (FEI) in collaboration with various Irish Higher Education Institutions is organising a series of webinars addressing the question "How can higher education 'build forward better'?" in the post Covid-19 context. The third and final webinar in the series will take place on Wednesday 28 April at 3:00pm and will focus on how higher education can 'build forward better' in teaching and learning in a post-Covid world.

On 12^th March 2020, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar – speaking from Washington, D.C. – announced the closure of all schools in Ireland in a bid to slow the spread of COVID-19. Throughout the months that followed, children and young people across the country were supported by parents and guardians in their home learning, while also drawing on a number of resources specifically introduced to help them. This is the untold story of how Children’s Books Ireland, RTÉ and The Glucksman were committed to continuing access to education, reading, art and culture throughout the pandemic.

Starting at 6pm today, Paul Reid, CEO of HSE is among the first to speak at this week-long conference. Join talks where you can hear from those at the forefront of the response as they share their stories of working through the ongoing COVID19 pandemic. Five UCC societies host this second conference to help capture insights gained during the pandemic.
