‘My space trips from Chimoio’. Notes about space and temporality in sampling
Welcome to the companion site to our chapter about sampling space and time in Chimoio Hip Hop production. It makes a part of Global Hiphopography book focusing on methodology of Hip Hop studies, which aims to rehumanise artists as research participants. In the table below you’ll find links to all the instrumentals and original recordings to go along with the article. Please do read along with these beats at hand, because it is your own listening to these instrumentals and music itself that are more important elements of Hip Hop knowledge than ours. Our chapter simply seeks to show just one route among unlimited number of other possible ones to listen to this music and find oneself. Please find your own routes in the Mar da Música, Ocean of Music.
Peace, Milton and Janne
