Dr. Claire O Regan graduated from the University of Westminster in 2002 with a BSc in Psychological Sciences and in 2004 was awarded a MSc in Health Psychology from City University in London. After graduation she worked as a Research Assistant on a cohort study investigating Resilience and Quality of Life at Imperial College London. In 1996 Claire qualified as a RGN from Redwood College of Nursing and Health Studies.

Claire worked for almost ten years on The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA), firstly as a Research Fellow with responsibility for developing the health component of the study, and subsequently as Project Manager. Claire was awarded a PhD in 2013 from the Department of Medical Gerontology, Trinity College Dublin in the area of depression and autonomic function in older adults.

Claire joined Cancer Research @UCC in 2022 to manage the OECI Cancer Accreditation Process.
